Hi, my series 2A has previously been fitted with anti-burst locks. Drivers side with a key, passenger side no key.
I have 2 problems, firstly no door key came with the car so I have purchased a new barrel to fit, but before I do that I would like to figure out the second problem.
I assume that the small lever inside is supposed to be pushed upwards to lock the door from the inside. Neither of mine will do this, on both sides if I push the lever up it just springs back to the bottom, am I missing something here or if this is a problem with both lock is it fixable?
I don't want to spend the time changing the lock if ultimately, I can't fix the internal locking.

Thanks in advance!!!

Even if the door is closed these may not lock.
Leave the door open & operate the latch, then try to lock it with that small lever.
If it locks now try with door closed.

(Don’t forget to re set the latch before attempting to close the door)

if this does not lock when door closed you need to adjust the door striker outwards a fraction.
