Another Classic being brought back

So with dunkan and P38 Ireland threads i suppose i'll put some pictures up of mine. here's the before..

Body is in for paint at the moment, being stripped this week.

Looks very nice mate, so does your P38!! How come the N/S mirror is out so far ??

but its got overfinch scuttle panel air vents..only they use them ..prehaps one should check its history??

Yeah, they were pop riveted on and the cuts were rough when removed. i've got the history and paperwork for the car and no mention of overfinch in it.

Perhaps someone tried to made it look 'overfinched' is there a way of checking overfinch history ?

Me too, it's got 80k from new (verified) and three owners.. just waiting for the paint to be done so i get it back together and then start on giving it a good service, the running gear is in excellent shape, i'm toying with putting stainless exhaust and a mild performance cam in it later on.

How is the rot worm situation on it? Looks good from the outside, like most landys.

its very good stu, a lot better than i was expecting. most of it has already been done.

all the electrics work too, apart from a fault on the ecu output to the fuel pump (jumpered at the relay for the time being)

Good man - another Classic saved! I like the yellow duster, nice touch. nb- non-original spoiler, but you can't get the right one anymore, I tried loads of places for my '87 Vogue without success.
