Hi all
Have had the blue wire disconnected on my P38 for several weeks now and it does seem to have cured the battery going flat problem - phew!
However, like many P38s, mine occasionally loses synch with the remote (remote stops working) and I need to use the EKA to start the car. Usually when this happens, the fob resynchs automatically within a day or so and starts working again.
This time, however, it doesn't want to resynch. Have tried pressing the buttons while turning key in lock as well as when key is in ignition, no luck. So to my question - do I need to reconnect the aerial (blue wire) in order to get the fob to resynch??
Another related question - out of interest, I tried to use the Nanocom to enter the EKA rather than the door locks. It behaved very strangely and did not work - after entering the code, it just came up with a message 'dipped and side lights'?!? Anybody got any idea what is going on? It would be good to have a backup method of entering EKA if (when...) the driver's lock microswith fails........
As always, thanks in advance for your help
Cheers
