That would be helpful. I'm in the UK and have tried to get in contact with Landiman, Nene, etc. Nothing...

I will send you a PM later. You have to be careful what you try to send to the US. There is a very big shakeup about Illegal Defenders at the moment. 180 warrant for seizure going on. They have got to be stock to what the vins says from factory. Nothing changed, not even the color. And if the chassis has been changed forget about it.

Those 2 named were some allegedly involved with sending illegal defenders to the US.

Thor was maybe looking at complete vehicles instead of engines in which case he's unlikely to say anything because he'd have to admit he was wrong

I don't know anywhere with a stock of 2.25's (I could be wrong) but they do pop up on military auction sites and fleabay from time to time.

When I bought my ambulance I had planned to swap out the 10L for a Tdi but it's only done 50k and it's so quiet I've fallen a little bit in love with it :p

That is 1 of may questions going on. The thread dippy posted up with the US site is over 60 pages 1400 posts alot of crap. But some very good info from 2-3 of them 1 is Will a lawyer working for free to get some results then another guy who is a big importer of defenders and spare parts. This guy is OK and not involved with the investigation. All the problems is a guy from NC a Doctor

BB what year did the 300tdi first appear?

What's that got to do with anything? he's got a 90 not a defender the first of which were fitted with 2.25's which is what he wants and I'm asking if an older identical Series 2.25 would pass the rules

What '2 named' have been implicated in the States (by PM please)
