Alloy wheels

I keep looking at second hand alloys of fleabay and i'm starting to get really ****ed of

Every set I look at doesn't state what year car it comes from and those that give you some kind of info always say will not fit later models.

I got a 05 commercial so can anyone tell me if a standard pair of alloys will fit my hippo?

tbh a search will tell you better as it's been done to death.

Basically if they have got dimples between the wheel nut holes then they will fit the later model.

i have herd the earlier pre 2001 wheels will fit but u do need to have 5mm spacers... scrapers near me got 2 sets with tyres but im not close im afraid

I've just got some new wheels (just got to get them powder coated), so will have 6 x triple sport 16" alloys for sale soon, they where fitted to my 2005 td4 before I got wheel spacers. And as they are originally off a V6 they will fit all years. As they had the bigger brakes, their 6jx16 ET46 and have holes between the wheel nut holes.

Hi just a quick question, if you use 5mm spacers are the wheel studs long enough? or do you need extended ones??

5mm should be fine with the standard nuts
I think people have gone as far as 10mm,
but I wouldn't personally go past 10mm without professional advice,
or £150 for the correct spacers..
