Guy's, I just got myself a old rangie to play in. I've seen all the pits and stuff but quite fancy a bit of green lanes. Where are they, how do i find them? I'm in west London, so's somewhere west would be cool.

Does any one organise green lane runs? Is it safe to go on your own? and answers to anymore questions i didn't ask would be good.

Thanks Bruce

dont go on yer own cos you'll get stuck! If your prepared to travel we be going laning north of london-herts/beds middle of april

Hi, yeah will certainaly be up for going out with a few people. What sort of stuff will we need? I'm not overly worried about damage. I think I'm pretty sorted for off road, but any advice would be welcome.

Thanks Bruce

For normal greenlaning good recovery points front and rear a towing strop rated to a minimum SWL 3tonnes (Machine Mart) and some good rated shackles (Not Machine Marts.) If there's a Crane or lifting place near you they would be a good place to get them.

Thanks for the tips, I got a straps and shackles came with the rangie. Lucky really as the closest thing to a crane place where i am is Tesco.
