The alarm on my 2002 3dr has decided to start going off randomly. It can be 20/30 seconds after locking, or can be longer. I tried locking it normally via the key, but it still flashes the indicators 3 times as if it's 'superlocked'. Is it possible to disable the alarm until I can get it looked at, and also prevent me upsetting the neighbours in the small hours

Have a read through of the manual on Topix it might help. Does it not lock properly with the fob? It could possibly be something as simple as dead battery in the fob. It should lock ok with key but the sensors shouldn't be armed inside - as I understand it anyway from working out how to leave Small Dog in ours.... Could be a faulty sensor?

It locks fine with the fob, only the alarm goes off soon afterwards. Using the key works, but still flashes the indicators so was guessing it might still be 'superlocking' the car? I'm not getting any bleeps indicating a dead battery, so not sure whether it could be that?

Lock yer hippo by turning the key twice. This will lock, then superlock. But not activate the volumetric which monitors inside movement. See how it goes. As it’s a 3 door it could be the “roof fitted” sensor, or the roof slightly out of fitment. Could also be yer hippo telling you it wants to go orf roading...

Still never got this problem sorted, but thinking it's more than likely a faulty motion sensor in the car. The alarm doesn't go off when I lock the car with the key, but does when using the fob, unfortunately now my lock barrel is playing up too... Is it possible to disconnect the motion sensor without any causing any other problems?
