Alarm Fob and Spare key (D1)

Ha! Funny you say that I've just been through a similar thing.
For me the key fob had to be done via a landy dealer and was considerably cheaper than having a 2 button fob programmed.
The key can be cut by any decent auto locksmith who can do it from you barrel.
In my case the door lock was different to the ignition fob and it was cheap for the chap to re-cut the barrel to fit the ignition than cut a new key :confused:
So don;t fear it can be done and it;s relatively simple although you may want to not on the log book or somewhere what the reference code for the key is for the future.
