Will it inflate in off road mode? Can you hear the compressor running? If there is any air in the bags check for leaks spraying with soapy water.

Discovery 1 set up is better so for a discovery 2 on airbags the only real way of sorting them out is to fit springs.
For a discovery 2 that's an upgrade

So you need to start investigating why the compressor is not kicking in. All doors need to be closed if you're trying on your drive etc.

Off course... and when your powertrain fails for some reason cut out the footwell and drive it like the Flintstones then it will be another "upgrade"
