Air conditioning switch

I have just recently bought a Freelander 2004 and I have problem with Air Conditioning. When I press the A/C button it does not "click", when I press it the indicator turns on, but when I release my finger it comes back to its original position and indicator light is off. Is that normal? Other buttons like re-circulation or defrost are working with a little click and once pressed they stay at the position.

Now I have not checked the fuses, maybe that is the problem, but I am curious why the button itself would be different to others.

If the indicator light comes on when you push it in then it's not a fuse. most likley you have a broken switch, a new one should solve the problem.

Many thanks guys. I will try to replace switch from the other buttons to check whether its working. If it is, I am going to look for this kind of part.
