Advice on this pretty little warning light...

So.. Does anyone know what this light relates to..?? Currently out and about and don't have manual in the car..!!

Note: when switching car off and back on.. Engine starts no problem ( after glow plug & that light goes away) but does do a quick rev. Followed by that light coming on.

Its the diesels version of a "check engine " light
It is ment to come on with ignition then turn out! Its like a self test, but as yours comes back on you must have a fault somewhere in the engine electrics

Just got it home, very sluggish on the hill's. Let it stand for 5 minutes and checked under bonnet, all seems ok, little bit of fresh oil around turbo though.. Start her back up again and light did not come back on again.. So seems to be ok..

Will take for a test run last tonight and see what it's like other wise it's time to invest in a diago. Tool.

Thats the diesel injection warning light...

Usualy indicates issues with the no4 injector or cps....

There will be a reason for it, and a fault logged....get it on diagnostics.

Dont think it covers just the injector guys
Int it supposed to come on with sensor faults too?
