@rob_bell... Thought of you today when I removed my stainless steel ABS bolt in about 10 seconds to remove the hub and change the wheel bearing!!! Sorry 
I will never get rid of my TD4, all the wheel arch liners have stainless, the long bolts on the rear hubs were still coated with copper slip and just pulled out!
Best lock down work I have done, it is a delight to work on.
Wheel bearing was only 1 year old but really noisy.
