Freelander 2 (LR2) Advice on buying Freelander 2

Just under 2 years ago, I gave up my very reliable FL1 TD4, which I had for 8 years, due to domestic issues and eyesight problems.

I might be in a position in the summer or autumn, to start driving again, should the treatment be successful.
I am thinking of possibly getting a FL2 if I am able to drive again.

I know nothing about the FL2. Which variant is best to buy and why, please?
I can then research like mad until my eyes are, hopefully, back to normal again.

The newest and highest spec you can afford.

As @Nodge68 said.
Don’t worry too much about high mileage. A decent service history is good. Lots of owners is not so good.
