Advice on buying a 2.5 v6 petrol

Hi all
Hope you can help me out with advice
I've been offered a 2003 2.5 v6 for £2k. It's had the belt done.
Should I buy or stay clear ??

Depends on how much fuel you like to use. I get a few tenths under 20mpg out of mine.
If don't mind heavy fuel consumption, the milage is low and the vehicle has only been serviced by LR, it might be worth considering.
I paid £800 for my 2001 V6 with 30K on the clock. I did have to change the engine mind.

I'm not bothered about the fuel as it will only be a weekend car for going out with the dogs and camping.
Do you think price is good ?? It is the face lifted model

If it's a face lift then as long as the history is good, it's worth the money.

It has had new water pump, thermostat and belt but head gasket hasn't been done and it's got 82k on clock.

Advice ?

what service history does it have?

I've not been to see it yet. It's in Leeds and I'm in Stockton (about 50miles away).
I will ask some more questions in the morning.

Hopefully it's had all 3 timing belts.
