Hi there,

My mate has a Freelander 2 TD4 and wants to add bluetooth to it. It has the factory radio with all the buttons for it and whatnot, but the option just isn't installed. If one purchased the bluetooth module would it be a simple case of just plugging it in at the back?

Or if that's too much issue, does the factory radio use ISO plugs or similar plugs to another landy which we can then install a Parrot kit onto?

Thanks
Mark

Mine had ISO cables. As long as it doesn't have the Harman Kardon system, I'd say an aftermarket like the Parrot would get the best features and less hassle.

I replaced the Blaupunkt in my 3 door with an Alpine (Parrot) system however the front speakers don't seem to function properly, everything else works fine though.

No 'reasonable' way to retro fit the factory fit Bluetooth system as far as i know and JLR dont offer it as an accessory.

I'd go with a parrott kit and just make sure it doesnt stay on when switched off and make sure it doesnt keep the radio backlight on.
