Adding 300TDI to disco2 or 3

Hello gentlemen,
I am from the Islands(Caribbean) and I had a thought and I was wondering how difficult it is of if it"s possible.
I own a Disco1 and I love it all to a couple of minor cosmetic imperfection .
I recently source a shell to replace and use as part from the uk costing me 300 pounds but the shipping was a whopping 1400 pounds. so I crapped that idea.
I thought if I was going to spend that kind of money to import a body why not a the youngest of the disco2 or a disco3.
So my question can I use/is it possible to put my 300TDi engine into a Disco2/3 shell?

I know of a D2 with a 300tdi engine. The owner is very happy with it so far .It was bought already converted so I'm sorry I can't say how difficult it is or what is needed to do it.

disco 3 is a completely different chassis and body style
