Evening all, I've taken the above off, and removed the old bushes ( fooking) pain, pics to follow. Now I'm left with a metal ring inside , does this stay, or does it need removing ?
Btw, with a blow tourch the inner ring comes flying out which was a surprise....

Carefully saw most of the way through the sleeve with a hacksaw and then lever it out. Wire brush the socket before fitting the new bush. I use a large bolt and washers to pull bushes in as I dont have a press. I once tried using my hydraulic log splitter to press something into place (with suitable covers on the blades) but it is 12 tons of force and not very controllable. Ended up bending what I was trying to fix. Spent the next three hours trying to bend it back the other way.

Thanks for the replies, I needn't have bothered cleaning out the rubber remains now ! Trying to keep all the parts that are serviceable, fulcrum may well be the only thing I will need, castle nut will not move, and as tub is coming off, I will just grind the nut off.
Using poly bushes now, so no need for the press.
Callipers came off yesterday and all rust ground off, rust eater painted on and sprayed black this morning, new pistons going in at the weekend.
The list goes on really.
Busters guides are a blessing I agree !
