All of a sudden my air cond system (which was blowing ice cold) just shut off? I checked fuese in front of the shifters, but all are good. I pulled the A/C cover down and replaced the 1" x 1" Relay. But still dead? I ordered
the $232 A/C Controler but am I missing something else? any ideas? My flashers went dead at the same time.
Coinsidence? I think not, any ideas?
Thanks, Frank

One of the most common AC issues is the refrigerant pressure, if it drops below a certain value or you have developed a leak then the system wont let the pump engage (to save it damaging itself). I certainly wouldn't be guessing at changing parts without getting the basics done first (power and pressure check) . An alternative way to diagnose is look at the flasher fault first (as it should be easier / cheaper to fix), if you solve that and the AC works then that's a bonus, if it doesn't fix the AC at least you have eliminated that potential cause (and you would have to fix them anyway)

Get hold of wiring diagram and see where flasher feed and aircon are common and check for live there ! thats the starting point .
