90 reverse light wiring

good morning gents
could any one tell me the colours of the wires going to the reverse switch from the fuse board as i,ve just puchased a 90 that has had a 200tdi enigine conversion but they didn,t put the wiring back for the reverse switch on the gearbox and if possible i would like to retrace it and get it working again, iv,e put a photo up if that helps,

Mmmm my 90 is the same

Off the top of my head I cannot tell you the colours, but you need a 12+ve from the fuse box to the switch which comes on with the ignition, then run a wire from the other contact on the switch to the light bulb and you also need to run an earth (12-ve) between the other contact on the bulb and the vehicle body.

Neither my reverse nor diff lock lights work either at the moment, but this is how I intend to cure them.

Reverse Lamps
When reverse gear is selected, the reverse lamp switch is closed. Current
flows across the switch (C0167-2) to the LH reverse lamp (C0472-2) and the
RH reverse lamp (C0455-2) on green/brown wires. The LH reverse (C0472-1)
and the RH reverse lamp (C0455-1) are earthed on black wires.

Apparently the 12+ve supply wire to the switch is Green/Yellow

positive feed goes to one terminal and other feeds rev lights and is earthed thru lights
