90 200tdi glow plug problem!

hi all i have a problem with a 90 200tdi glowplugs...
tried to take them out and the bottom part of the plug is missing ? does this mean its stuck somewhere in the engine or has it just corroded away and its time to replace them ?

just a bit worried it may need pro help (drilling out ?) any advice would be brilliant... cheers guys

whats the easiest way of getting out ? or is it a garage job ?
