Don't think so mate
55 reg is most likely when the 2006 model came into change
New electronics systems etc..
I know the fault mate does up to 2012 models

no problems mate
yes it is rather pricey.
mine cost me £1,200 in the end !
had to have it to do the programming bits i wanted with the car, brilliant bit of kit !
i also have an all comms for backup

All Comms only covers up to VIN 5A999999

Also GAPDiagnostics IIDTool will cover yours along with the Bearmach Hawkeye....
I think BBS do a nanocom for later L322 but that maybe 2009 onwards, you'll need to check.
