300TDI Vs RAV 4

This is happened to "Lucy" my awesome D1 when I was on my way home from work. Only Doing 50Mph when the girl in the Rav just pulled out in front of me.

I slammed on the anchors but it was to late then anyway, I ended up doing a 180 and she went down a ditch.
And they say landrovers are dangerous lol.....bit that pi$$ed me off was I only replaced the bloody front prop shaft 7 days earlier. Not Chuffed!!!!!!!

I feel gutted for you I really do as it was not your fault and you have lost your motor that you no doubt loved as it sure looks a write off. I have only had mine a week and I love it...

Yeah we were all ok, didn't claim on that injury crap. Not injured so why claim eh, will only put everyones insurance up!!!

Yep she was a write off, still miss her now and the other half wants us to get another which i'm dead chuffed about.

Got her off ebay for a grand paid £300 for the sills and got £1200 from the insurance company, so she only cost me £100 really plus go faster juice lol.
Just not sure if to get another D1 or a TD5.

But we'll get there

The only other Landy I've driven was an armoured V8 Defender, which was interesting, but driven plenty of other 4x4s and pickups, and I can honestly say the TD5 is the best engine of the lot. Absolutely lovely.

yep she defo was. just pulled out across in front of me, and had no where to go.
even the copper said it was a 50/50, go figure???
