hey guys.
my 300tdi has been draining its battery in about 2 days.
anyway used a multimeter and it was drawing 0.12 milliamps.
at this point it started fine.
I started removing fuses and the 20amp AUX trailer lamp fuse dropped it to 0.03.
I then removed satellite 1 fuse 1 which is the 15amp anti theft one.

anyway the car then turns over but doesn't fire.
put both fuses back in and same again, doesn't fire.
I noticed that the glow plug light doesn't light up on the dash now since doing this even for a split second.
its a 1998 and doesn't have the spider it has the dds green box immobiliser thing.
however if I dont press the unlock on the fob it doesn't even turn over, so I press it and it turns over but doesn't fire.

any suggestions as it was fine before I pulled a fuse

Check that the contacts in the fuse holders are 'clean', any green gunge and they'll play up ...

No glow plug light could be a faulty timer relay or the power supply to it.
They all have the security ECU (green box) for the alarm, immobiliser and central locking.
The engine should remain remobilised when the fob is placed near the ignition switch, if not, the system will automatically immobiliser the engine, therefore keep the fob next the ignition switch, (of course u need a fully functioning fob as they can go faulty), or… as u do press the unlock button to remobilise.
So although the engine cranking is ok, possibly the diesel fuel system is still immobilised.

EDC engine or normal If EDC with ign on can you hear buzzing driver side of engine
