300tdi hard to start when hot.

hi all,

bit of a strange one here, ive a 1990 90 with a 300tdi engine and auto box.200000 miles. it starts great when its cold and goes the best.

the problem is when i stop it and try to start it again it struggles to turn over, let it sit for 20 and it starts no problem,

has anybody any ideas?

Could be something like corrosion in the main feed from the battery causing high resistance
