If you'd said passengers side. I'd have guessed egr pipe. only one on O/S I can think of is expansion tank overflow pipe.

everything else is either wiring or brake pipes. Yu sure someone int run some extra wires and put em inside tubing to protect em??

Just had a better look, the pipe runs from the pump along the top of the chassis to the back on the off side, think it may be the fuel return to the tank, anyone ever changed one ?, seems strange to have a rubber pipe for diesel,

Thanks.

Anyone know what the rubber pipe is that runs along the top of the inner sill on the drivers side ?

Thanks

Do you have aircon?just looked on the parts catalogue and it looks as though it could be the pipes to the rear vaporator if you have dual aircon.

Hi, No there is no air con, there are two pipes running along the top of the chassis on the drivers side, they seem to be going to the injection pump, should they be steel or have someone fitted plastic / rubber tubeing ?, what should they be?.
Thanks.

if they run to the IP/filter then they must be fuel, you'll probably have no sedimentor either - i've heard of people replacing pinholed metal fuel lines straight through from tank to filter before...

Yes, both the fuel supply and return pipes run along the top of the chassis rail and are plastic. I replaced both of mine a few years back...nothing complicated about it

Hi, are they a standard length with fittings on each end or do they have to be cut to size, and what do they cost (about)

Thanks
It was so long ago I can't remember the answers to any of those....sorry. If I remember I'll look the part numbers up, that will be a start for you
