Hello,
Has anyone else noticed a little 'nodule' that is part of the casting on the outlet at the bottom of a 300tdi intercooler? I assume that it is designed to act as a type of barrier to prevent the bottom intercooler hose from being pushed down any further onto the outlet but I can't seem to stop my system from loosing boost at that particular point. The silicone join is not actually sat over the nodule but just nicely up to it and then held tight with a jubilee clip. The pipe must be sat ever so slightly proud in that point (an oily reside has formed at the join) so I'm going to whip it out and grind the fecking thing off.
Anyone else noticed it / removed it?
