hi my other half has a 300tdi auto its r reg, it had a problem with the fan belt breaking caused by the frister fan not working, while we had the cover off we thought we would change the cam belt then a lug broke off the fuel pump and it leaked diesel everywhere so we located a new pump (fly by wire) which has been fitted the timming has been done and it still wont start have we missed anything? please help

its getting fuel to the injectors though, would it still be wiring? he did have to re wire a plug as it was differnt maybe its that?

ok here goes my other half took fuel pump off but didnt lock it and now has a new pump on but cant get the timing right how many variations are there for pupm timing? he seems to think there is just 2 is that right or are there 100s?

Look on youtube or google theres load of write ups, the 200 and 300 are real simple to do
300 auto flywheel timing hole is in the back of the flywheel housing going into the back of the flywheel, not on the outside edge like the std 200/300
