Hi all, non of the car dealers near me have one instock, could someone measure the distance between the 2 outer most isofix points on the rear bench of a facelift freelander 1 please.
I've to sell my 3 series as it's not wide enough, were as the wife's polo is due to not have plush bolsters.
I wanted to get myself a HSE but I think the more ' plush' leather reduces the usable width ( similar to my BM) was wondering if the half leather would be more accommodating
Thanks in advance
Andy

Gaylander 2 has isofix but buy a maxicosi pebble for the simplest and quickest baby seats.

I've a family fix base that will be changing from being used with a cabriofix to pearl in a few months which gives a bit of height to get a booster cushion in middle position then a high back booster for the other side so I'm hoping should be possible, just looking for confirmation I guess, I thought all cars after '05 had to have isofix?

There not always visible and are often 'set back' would u mind having a feel for them in the gap between the back and the bench? hSE is full leather? What distance is there between the 2 outer bolsters on the back bench?
Thanks for your time

From what I researched, NO Freelander 1 s have isofix. So I just bought a base that is isofix and beltfix. Most beltfix bases have problems in Freelander 1s too as the buckle is too long and sits on the stress points. Not so with the Easyfix base, thankfully. The only problem that I can see is that it is not compatible with the next size up forward facing seats- only the rear facing such as the Cabriofix according to the nice chaps in Mothercare....
