Hi all,
I have a 98 disco 3.9 and looking for some assistance.
Problem 1 is a loud whistling noise coming from the rear of the plenum. I have gone through looking for leaks, cleaned the idle control valve and setup the base idle correctly. Still whistling. Touch the throttle lovely and quiet, closed throttle whistling again.
The idle speed is perfect. Is my next move to replace the idle control valve? I cannot think of anything else to try, any suggestions?
Problem 2, not really a problem, anyone familiar with tartarini etagas LPG system? It all runs ok but I think I should service it, going to clean the stepper motors, but I cannt find any in line LPG filters, is there one in the regulator? Also how do you drain the heavy end, run up to temp, switch off and there s a drain on the regulator?
I have searched high and low for information with no luck.
