Good morning to you all. I have recently been fobbed off by a main dealer regarding my air con. They verbally reported to me that there was a twisted pipe under the bonnet, they untwisted it, re-gassed and it was then deemed to be working. It wasn't. I have since taken it to another garage, not a main dealer, but a LR garage who says that the compressor is not working and there was a bulletin stating that if a pipe was found to be twisted, then the pipes and the compressor should be replaced. I have obviously gone back to the main LR dealer, who are now asking for a copy of the bulletin! Do any of you know about this? I have searched and searched online, but am failing! Apparently it is a well known fact within LR that a team of apprentices caused this issue at the point of manufacture. Any help from you guys would be appreciated.

Why not ask the second garage since they told you about the bulletin?
I have called them this morning, but it was a phone call he made to someone else. But he said it was a known fact and all over the internet, but I cannot find anything about it online. I have gone back to the main dealer as he has just requested a copy of the bulletin! I told him that in any other recall we have experienced we didn't get issued with a bulletin, so why would we now!?!
