I've seen many posts about using 2stroke but everyone recommends mineral oil, so I was just wondering if semi-synthetic was any good as we use loads of it at work so would save me buying lol:rolleyes:

Any advice would be appreciated
Cheers Dan

This topic has been covered a multitude of times and with vastly different opinions. My own is that I don't see the point and if it was intended to run on diesel mixed with 2 stroke then land rover would advise it. Anyway that's just my opinion, if you search you'll find numerous threads on it.

What engine do you have?

Bung it in, you'll not notice any difference but if it makes you happy. ;)

The 200/300 tdi engines were designed years ago when diesel had a high sulphur content, today,s fuel has low sulphur and doe's not lubricate the fuel system as well so we add some oil
