I have a 110 double cab which has little storage out of the elements and so I am looking at utilising the space under the rear seats. My first thought was plastic boxes however spanners straps etc mean these don't last long.

My next thought was a mid box tool draw however at only 6" high I can't find one (without paying 100's) to fit

Any ideas?

I've been giving this some thought recently. I'm going to try building a box out of wood that that sit on the floor and that covers all of the seat frames. To access your kit you would need to release the seat and lift it up but that way you're maximising all of the available space.

I've tried just places boxes underneath the seats but they've worked their way out.

Small bungee straps all along the front of the frames below the seat. That'll keep stuff from falling out.
