2a wiper motor

Driving back up from Somerset last night in the dark and drizzle my wipers started playing up.........run for a min or so then grind to a halt turn em off for about 30 secs then back on and they work for another min The wipers start juddering then freeze in the centre of the screen.

I had a real fun 2hr drive with one hand glued to the switch on the far side of the dash.........any ideas?

From what I can glean from the archives its a lecky motor with brushes set up so is it likey new brushes or burn it?

ah well......just have to do what I normally do then......pull it apart......break it.......get another one :doh:
