Going to swap out the above. Is it wise to install electric, or just stick with mechanical? Any improvements with electric, will the engine and cope with it? Will it mess with the injector pump?
Thanks

Update. Will replace the pump due to loss of power. However, I also heard that a hole on the boost diaphragm could cause power loss? Since a Landy specialist did a service on the turbo boost I heard a clear whistle when upping the Revs and changing in two first second and third. Only dissapears at speed and also when depressing the clutch and releasing. He said it's not an issue, but never heard this whistle before on the 26 year old girl. Any tips? Ta much.

Keep it standard is my advice. I recently got mine refurbished and it works a dream

Other LR.. I have an electric facet pump inline. The lift pump draws through this even turned off. I energise this pump for bleeding purposes & In case I brake down on the race course.
