200tdi fuel economy

Hi, wot sort of mpg are people getting out of there 200tdi? mines drinking fuel atm, has anyone got any tips for makeing them better on fuel bar not having a lead right foot??/ cheers Dave

amount of accessories fitted
amount carried
motorway/urban driving

lol ha ha , no one has still answered the first question??? and i was expecting to get a bit of help on here not some people takin the p!ss.

i no there not goin to be the best on fuel but if i wanted a fiesta diesel or a push bike i would of brought one not a defender.

nathan5346 ive just done ruffly 148 miles on £60 worth of fuel.

manner of driving : wudnt say i drive it hard and not steady bit inbetween really
choice of tyres : 265/75/16 insa turbo special track
amount of accessories fitted : ???
amount carried : no weight really
motorway/urban driving : urban driving

so about 14mpg That's **** 22mpg round town 30/35mpg on a long run.

ye i was thinking something wasnt rte.

About 25mpg...all the time....doesn't use much when its parked though.

mine has now dropped to 27mpg with 265 BFG AT fitte!
