2004 CD sat Nav problem

Hi

The sat Nav no longer displays on my display unit and there is no light on the unit itself. I am assuming its died for whatever reason. My question is does anyone know if the sat nav and CD is linked on this model as I have also lost the ability to plays CD's

They are linked, probably water in the DSP and/or SatNav unit. common fault, check behind the trim in the boot left hand quarter.

Hi

The Sat nav appears to be dead as no power light on. Would this cause the CD to be inoperable also?

Check the fuses, check the connectors for corrosion, in particular check for pins that have completely corroded off. Any sign of damp or water stains?
