well are they the right ones and are they fitted right cos in my experience the sensor is in the pad not the hub.. but not played with rangie wheels so could be different I suppose..

yep deffo right pads and fitted correctly. the sensor thing clips to the pad its self but i think the sensor thing is slightly damaged as i bought the rangie with as the light came on on the way home from buying the rangie, otherwise i wouldnt have let the pads get to that stage.

if, as i suspect it is cos the sensor is damaged, i just want the light off my dash but not sure how and i didnt want to go down the route of just cutting the sensor like so many do.

Buys a 4.4v8 then too tight to fit a pad sensor !! Best bit is that it needs to go on Testbook to clear the fault - fitting the new sensor wont clear it.
The fault is logged under "Vehicle Exterior Lighting" just to keep it simples.:D

thats a new one on me i usualy just drive it and it clears on it's own but saying that most cars that i do have only just had the light coming on not been run for months on end

You must have the magic touch then,I've only ever been able to clear it with T4.Dealer tech support told me a proceedure ages ago but it didnt work.....

right i learn somthing new every day, so i need to plug the computer in to switch the light off is this somthing i could do or do i need to speak to someone with the tek2 diagnostic stuff?

it seems a lot of fafing just for a brake sensor? mind having said that when my bmw530d needs air in the tyres you have to reset the computer!!

The system should reset itself, it sounds like the sensor has been damanged, just pay for a new one, very simple to fit.
