I'm about to travel to view this tomorrow, with cash, but I just fround out from 13E41V that (because he's only had it a month) there is no V5 present.

I'm slightly old fashioned and very dubious of buying a car without the V5, so I have cancelled my trip (I had bought insurance for the day too) until such time as the V5 is present.

I'm surprised this wasn't in the ad, but as I'm new to the forum and the seller is established, I just wondered what other thought of this, do you guys all know each other and can "vouch" for the seller?

I just want a Landy.

To be honest as anyone who sold a hookey vehicle on here would be lynched. Its easy to lose a v5. Lord knows I have lost paperwork a few times

only have the green slip at the mo but logbook should be here soon
i normally do a hpi if im buyin a car or landy with no logbook or just green slip' gives lots of info
obvious check chassis numbers / v.i.n... to whats given on hpi

To be honest as anyone who sold a hookey vehicle on here would be lynched.

But "lynching" would mean some strong words on the forum, whilst the unlucky buyer has all the problems sitting on their drive and zero comeback...

Just wondered if anyone could vouch. :)

would like to say i have contacted dvla for my were abouts of my new logbook 'they have not yet recived it or they are processing it.
was advised if its not here in upto 2 weeks i can take green slip v5c/2 to local dvla department or post office fill in a fourm and wait for logbook free of charge

so goin to put landy on hold of selling untill have sorted logbook. dan
