well i have standard ones on there and my wife would like it not to pitch to much in the bends. i know all my disco's have done this but can it be better

Sounds like springs not shocks. Check ya bushes as well Is the Anti Roll bar still connected.

be better off putting standard height heavy duty springs in and replacing ya bushes as redhand has suggested.
