2 litre diesel does it exist

looking on ebay and found this

is it real is it a 2000cc or have they put it down wrong

I think some people confuse the 200/300 tdi for engine size - have seen many 200s advertised as 2.0 and 300s as 3.0 motors.

I expect it's a 2.5 200 Tdi engine.

On ebay you can just click something like get info when you list a car. (I did this a month or two ago). If you do this it puts the information the car is registered as. It looks to me like he has done this so I would assume it is a 2l because it must be registered as a 2l. I would never bid without being able to contact the seller by phone and try and go to see the car.

Nah, no engine that I know of is exactly 2,000 cc. If it were a pre-filled document it would be something like 1994 cc for example.

But if he changed the engine does he not state the engine size when registering it? He would have said 2l not 1994 cc surely?

Highly doubt it. If he had changed the engine, would you not think he would at least mention it in the listing?

He doesn't exactly seem like a master of words and be honest, if you swapped a Landy 2.5 turbo for a 2 litre would you make it a major selling point?

I would never buy a car without seeing it. My 90 was off ebay and I waited until the listing ended because it didn't hit the reserve and called him. I travelled for 2 hours to go and buy it in person and even saved £500 off of the starting price. (He needed the money right then)

There was a nail in one of them, that was about the only bit of grip left. Keep it to your sel though

As it's ex MOD most likely to be a 2.5 N/A
