Here is my discovery 300tdi for sale.
I bought the car in December 2010 after looking around for a good one, eventually I found this one and did over a 150 mile trip to buy it and its never let me down. Only selling now as its a 3 door and we are expecting a baby so a 5 door would be more practical.
The car comes with a mot which will expire in May or June 2013 as its current mot runs out in June but I will be getting it re done. mileage is currently just over 87,000 but this may increase slightly due to local driving.
The car has full service history and includes the original Land Rover folder with all the original manuals and service portfolio and the receipt for the timing belt being done which got done on the 20/01/2011 by Jake Wright land rover specialists. Last month I had new discs and pads put on the rear and a brand new caliper, front discs and pads got done last year. This year I had the axle oils changed, the gearbox oil changed, transfer box oil changed and did the front swivel houses re done with one shot grease. At this point the diff lock was also serviced and it engages into high/ low box perfectly and diff lock works spot on.
The car to my knowledge has had no paint, filler or welding done to it unlike many others. It is a non sunroof model so no leaks! No towbar fitted and never has had one to my knowlegde. I also have 2 keys and 2 alarm fobs. The rear windows and tailgate have all been tinted. There are a few marks on the paint work as to be expected on a car of this age and 2 'bubbly' bits of paint, one approximately 50p size and the other smaller. The drivers side rear lens has a tiny corner cracked off it and a small dent underneath it (no paint cracked) but this was like this when I bought it and its never bothered me. On the top of the bonnet there is a small blemish and a few marks down the side of the car where small branches have brushed along the side of it (one mark I have touched up with a touch up pen and is barely visible). - these would probably buff out. None of these are obvious. interior is very good with no dash peel under the windscreen, no rips or tears anywhere. Nothing major but the rear heated screen doesnt work (snapped on the connector when windows got tinted) and the recliner knob on the passenger seat is missing but again this has never bothered me, I am just being honest.
Drives really well with no knocks or bangs and we would be keeping it if it was more practical.
The car is taxed until the end of July 2012.
