Hi,

just replaced rear brake pads and pistons but now need to replace copper pipes from drums to suspension, and then hoses to pipes on chassis.

Can you replace the copper pipes with flexi hoses the same as one from suspension to chassis?

cheers!

Not sure what you are asking. Have you replaced the rear shoes and wheel cylinders or the front pads and calipers as the Freelander does not have rear discs. If the metal brake pipes need replacing I would replace with metal pipe and not try to carry out your own modification as you stand a good chance of failing the next "MOT" test. Perhaps you could provide a more detailed description of what you are looking for.

I guess you could use flexi hoses if you can find the correct lengths but then you would need to make sure the hose is not rubbing on any part of the suspension - far easier just to replace with copper - simple job to do :)
