1996 300tdi disco front end to 2003 td5 conversion

Now before we get the just search thing i have, the problem is its sketchy and has anyone actually done this ?

I have a 300 tdi but the front bumper has a ding in it and i am struggling to find a decent one and i thought well why not upgrade the whole front end to TD5 face lift, i have the headlight conversion sorted ish lots of butchery but does the bumper fit and does the wheel arch kit fit ?

Any help would be great, personally i can't see why the whole lot shouldn't just lot straight on as is the same body and chassis.

Really i thought someone would have done it ?, i don't want to go for the whole winch bumper thing it looks wrong on a Grouse Moor, and i dont want TD5's either i find them to soft, and they don't like red.
