For sale is my 1995 defender 90 truck cab, with 156000 miles. I have owned it for 3 years and enjoyed every minute of it. A new job means I require something smarter and more suited to long distance driving.
The bulkhead and chassis outriggers have not been welded. The rear crossmember has been replaced with heavy duty one with no horrible water traps with a couple of patches to the chassis in that region.
The body has various small dings and dents, and a small hole in the passenger door (swung open onto something) other than that is straight.
It has an Ifor Williams canopy. Minus 4 inches in height as I didnt like the pronounced step up at the rear of the cab.
Servicing wise I have always made sure anything that needed doing has been done promptly and properly. oils and filters have been regularly changed. The following has been replaced within the last 15k miles
Clutch (genuine ap) and very heavy duty clutch arm.
Gearbox (only done 50k from new) Transfer box has cross drilled input gear.
Rebuilt swivels.
New standard height springs and Terrafirma shocks last year with new steering damper.
Alternator is a discovery item and has just been fully reconditioned.
Modular wheels and grabber 265 at2 tyres. 8mm tread on front, 12mm on rears.
Engine had timing belt at 118k and has never let me down.
Plenty of minor small things have been done, like poly bushed panhard rod.
Interior wise the rubber matting and seats are not perfect, and the bit that wraps round the bulkhead could do with replacement but its an old landrover so not bothered me.
MOT till august, tax until the end of January.
