Hi there,
I'm selling my beloved 200tdi Land Rover Discovery 5-door, it's a 1992 with 170,000 miles on the clock, and is white is colour (based in Shropshire)
The interior is in excellent condition and everything electrical works!
Just replaced alternator, track rod ends, steering arm and UJ's, power steering box, power steering pump, water pump, battery, brake pads and discs, steering damper, rear differential and finally the turbo is off a 50,000 mile Discovery, this is all recent work.
It comes with tow bar, brand new steering guard (heavy gauge metal) and diff guards.
The front tyres are new, spare is new and the rears are good for a couple of thousand miles (weller wheels)
No welding required to the chassis, bodywork etc as I have had all this work done (partially by myself), the rear pan is new and the front end has been completely welded inc battery box.
The vehicle has 9 months MOT however I have just taken it off the road (SORN) due to a loss in engine compression (Piston rings I think) and will be transferring the number plate. It starts first time and until it lost compression no smoke at all, always been a good runner. It still starts first time just sounds like a sherman tank.
I'm getting married this year and other things that follow so can no longer sustain looking after my beloved Land Rover. As the body work is in good shape I have been looking on Ebay for an engine and been very tempted, but simply do not have the time.
Or if someone would like to help me fix it, or has an engine and hoist I can use?
I will be more than happy for you to come round and view it.
Anyway, email me for my contact details: [email protected] or [email protected]
Many thanks
Dan
