As much as I would love to keep this project, it's just not going to be done any time soon, so I've decided I'll offer it up for sale.

The car is a 1987 90 which is on disco disc brake axles and has a discovery 200tdi engine fitted. The engine runs really well and is still in the car and running so can be tested by the buyer. The gearbox is crunchy, but I have a spare gearbox and transfer box included. Currently, the 90 is partially stripped to a point where it can still be driven around (obviously not on the road) but enough to get me to have a good look at the chassis and decide a new one was the best course of action. I have a smooth roof and window sides with it. It has a back door but this would need replacing ideally. There are a pair of push button doors with it but these will need work to make them nice again. The bulkhead has been repaired as both pilars and one footwell were rotten. These were repaired with new panels.

All of the body work needs repainting as its been painted badly in the past.

There are 3 front seats, all in good condition and also a new rear bench. There is a new moto-lita steering wheel too.

The wheels it will come on are disco freestyles.

The chassis is a brand new Richards 200tdi chassis with td5 fuel tank mounts added to give the option of a new tub. I also have the galvanised crossmember and suspension turrets with it.

I will not sell the chassis separately so please don't ask.

My location is just north of Preston, Lancashire. I could help out with transporting it if necessary but this would be at the buyers expense and it depends on distance.

I'm after £3000 for all of it. I'll take some pictures shortly and upload them.

Also have a spare passenger wing, spare bonnet, 2.5 litres of mordant solution, 5 litres of red oxide, 5 litres of signal red top coat, 5 litres of rocket red (more orange so I got the signal red instead) and also some lacquer, etch primer and black gloss which will all come with it.

Sorry hadn't spotted the reply. Yes I've still got it and still haven't made a start on it, although I was planning to crack on with it in September once I've got afew jobs done at home.

I'd still sell it as it is though if you're interested in it?
