19 J Td Lift Pump - Fuel Supply/ Air Problem

Hello All,

Any Ideas Welcome, Truck Failed To Start Today Due To The Fact That I Parked It On Steep Slope Facing Up Hill Overnight, The Problem I Had Was Air Had Worked Its Way Up To Lift Pump Or Lift Pump Had Let Fuel Flow Back- Anyway When I Put It On The Flat It Pulled Through And Started Straight Away.
Tank Is In Rear Tub, Engine High Miles,just Wondered, Thinking About New Lift Pump / Non Return Valve / Electric Pump.options

Any Suggestions Accepted!

i have this problem on my SIII.

what i do is just to park facing down or on a level ground and it fires everytime. might be the lift pump as there is air in the fuel lines.

try again parking facing up with a full tank. it should be startable.
