110 rear brakes

I have a 2011 110 I notice a few weeks ago that every now and then i thought heard the front wheels lock up recently i moved my digger in the rain and it was scary as F every time I touched the brakes fronts locked up ive had the wheels of today nothing clearly obvious although the friction area on the discs against the pads looks less than it should be could it be a calliper fault any ideas???
