Hi everyone, I have a problem with my 04 td6 vogue, recently the radio/cd works intermittently and the indicator lights on the dash have stopped working although the indicaters work o.k, also the reverse lights have packed up and the rear wash wipe has also quit, checked fuses but are o.k
Any idea's ?

Thanks in advance

Has the car got Sat Nav and a largish screen in the centre of the dash that also does for the radio? If so look behind the trim in the boot on the left hand side, lots of electrical boxes in there that seem to get wet. Just looked at one where one pin on the blue connector had corroded off completely. Cleaned it all up and soldered in a bypass wire. Amazing, all sorts of things came back to life, SatNav, radio, telephone etc. Do NOT pull any connectors until the red LED on the CD/DVD unit for the SatNav disc stops flashing. The unit that had the problem has a fibre optic link that connects all or most of the ECU's, when you lose one it seems to cause all sorts of problems. Anyway, my mate is very happy, dealer quoted €2K to fix it:eek:
