4 day week versus 5 nights of old job, slightly less money, but 40hrs versus 37.5, plus free van and fuel, means its pretty even money wise, main thing is I can take my dog to work with me, plus missus actually likes me being at home!
Old place had 400 bits of kit and 25 mechs, new place has 25 bits of kit and one mech which is me.
Old place all trucks were 320 bhp, new place lowest bhp is 370, and the rest are 530 to 700 ish.
Today I have been fixing a 30 yr old F12 and a 20 yr old gen 1 FH12, real old school clobber.

Happy wife… happy life….

just starting to take delivery of 61 new 460 FM Volvos… Was down in Hythe yesterday looking over the first one.
As for Sheppy - well! I’m based at the Mill in Kemsley, and those roadworks on the 249 are no fun !

I have the joys of going into the powerstation and sitting there for a few hours.

@Freddie17 Sounds like a great plan , only thing in the back of my mind is fingers crossed I can get my brakes all sorted out in the next few weeks as reliant to see when my neighbour is free to assist me getting the wheels off to reach the bleeding points

along with ensuring the brakes are all ok , can then replace both brake pad wear sensors seeing they were in the box but not changed

really looking forward to this

plus will anyone have a dashcam plse, I’ve got a camera I can bring if it’s of interest to anyone in me bringing one

No dashcam, but dare say I’ll have a passenger (not decided ’who’ gets the pleasure this time round!), and they will probably record / photo with my phone, same as we did last time. Happy to share those on whatsapp or similar.

FFS just a joke went to A2Tyres on the island to see richie the wizard for 4 wheel align on the SL its chewing rear tyres etc.
Its a mission from where i am at the best of times, but was Rammo from 8 year road works ( How FKIN long have they been sodding about there?) at 249 roundabout with M2 to the bridge. Went back via old bridge and lower road to rainham,
